gave 10 for a mosquito net |
posted October 14, 2011

Betty Nabirye received mosquito net thanks to your donation. She asked us to pass on a big thank you, Subash.
She is married with 5 children and resides in Bulamagi village, Iganga District. Her children have fallen sick monthly from Malaria.
After the harvest season, she saved up enough money to buy nets after attending one of the Uganda Village Project’s malaria education sessions. She realized that she has been spending money on malaria treatment, but was not taking preventative measures, which is why her children kept falling sick.
She is excited that the Uganda Village Project and their donors have started working in Bulamagi because they provided her with an opportunity to buy mosquito nets at an affordable price and protect her family from malaria!
