Tippy-taps for Bubaka Primary School

Uganda Village Project 421 (480x640)
Dear Marci and Molly,

Robert is the “Sanitation Prefect” for Bubaka Primary School in Bulamagi, Uganda. When Uganda Village Project Interns went to their school to hold an education sesstion on hygiene and sanitation and build a tippy tap, he was very excited and said it would improve the hygiene of students. After seeing the tippy-tap constructed at the school by UVP interns, he went home with some supplies and built one for his family of 8 that live in Bulamagi Village. The original design of the tap seemed too flimsy to him, so he decided to improve upon it and make it sturdier. The school adopted his design and modified both of the taps built by UVP. The two new tippy-taps at the school will last longer and be more durable, which is essential when it has to serve 600 students! Robert, his family and Bukaba Primary School are very grateful for your donation Marci and Molly, as they will now be more hygienic!
