Namukose Irene resides in Bulamagi village, Uganda. She is a mother of give and a grandmother to four. She came home to find the UVP crew at work in her compound with one of her daughters. She then approached us and asked us what we were doing. On explaining to her who UVP was and what hygiene and sanitation measures we were implementing, she was excited and asked us to help each and every individual in her village. “Washing hands goes a long way to preventing many illnesses,” she said. “This is great! I will teach my grandchildren once they come back from school.” Namukose is thankful for UVP and for your donation Maria!
