Nakazibwa’s family is germ free!

P1010431
Dear Jami,

Nakazibwa resides in Nawasenga B village, Uganda. She is 12 years old and is in grade 5 at the local primary school. During her lunch hour she came home to find the UVP crew on the ground installing tippy taps on her street. Nakazibwa was excited and watched intently as we taught her and her mother about how to put one up and how to use it. On asking them how they felt about receiving the device and participating in the process, Zahara said, “with a tippy-tap we can keep our hands clean, before we eat, after using the toilet, and it is important to do so as we will be germ free.” Hiding behind their mother, Jamira, her younger sister shyly  said, “and we will not get sick.” Nakazibwa is thankful for UVP and for your donation Jami!
