Nangobi resides in Nawasenga B village, Uganda. She is 21 years old and a mother of a three year old boy. She was excited to see the UVP crew and was eager to learn how to put up and use a tippy tap. When asked how she felt about the whole process, she said “I am excited and I know I am now able to prevent the household from getting diarrheal diseases. We have gotten them from bad hygiene like not washing your hands after toilet usage and before eating, they taught us this at the sanitation and hygiene sensitization.” The UVP crew was excited to see that the knowledge they had passed on stuck and was being utilized, and Nangobi was excited that she could now keep her family clean. Nangobi and UVP are thankful to you Shari for your donation!
