gave 10 for a mosquito net |
posted November 14, 2011

Kauma Joweliya received mosquito net thanks to your donation. She asked us to pass on a big thank you, Sarah.
Kauma is a 25 year old single mother of a 6 month old girl, who resides in Bulamagi village, Iganga District in Uganda. Though she doesn’t earn much as a domestic worker, she knew the importance of preventing her baby girl from malaria after attending UVP’s malaria sensitization in the summer.
She therefore saved up enough money to buy a net for her and baby. “The net you sold me is affordable.” Kauma is happy that Uganda Village Project and their donors are now in Bulamagi village, because they have given her the opportunity to buy a mosquito net at a cheaper price that will protect her and her baby from Malaria.
