One mosquito net goes a long way for three children

malaria pic A
Dear Katherine,

Namuyomba  Magoba is a 26 year old mother  of 3 children who resides in the Bugabula Village of Uganda, a village that UVP has been working in, for the past three years. Namuyomba sells vegetables on the road side while she can and her husband Waiswa is a farmer

When asked why she bought a net, she says, “I have bought a net because this area has very many mosquitoes and I want to keep my children from getting bit by the mosquitoes, as they cause malaria.  Soon I will save up and buy more nets, one for each child. I am very grateful. Thank you.”

Namuyomba asked us to pass on a big thank you to you Katherine!
