gave 10 for a mosquito net |
posted March 6, 2012

Mutagobwa is a 28 year old mother of 3 children who resides in the Nawansega B Village of Uganda, a village that UVP has been working in, for the past 10 months. Mutagobwa is a recently elected village health team member who’s focal point and interest is hygiene and sanitation in the village of Nawansega. Mutagobwa is a housewife and her husband is a guard.
When asked why she bought a net, she says, ” When UVP came to Nawansega, they educated us on Malaria transmission and prevention. I have bought a net because this area has very many mosquitoes and I want to keep my children from getting bit by the mosquitoes, as they cause malaria. I am grateful I can now afford the net at the price UVP is selling it. Thank you.”
Mutagobwa asked us to pass on a big thank you to you !
