gave 10 for a mosquito net |
posted April 20, 2012

Fatuma Mutesi is a 58 year old grandmother of 6 who resides in Walukuba village, Uganda, a village that UVP has been working in for the past three years. Fatuma sells vegetable at the local market while her husband Said is a farmer.
When asked why she bought a net, she said , “I bought a net because I want to ensure that my grandchildren sleep under a net. We still need more nets as they are many but for now they will share.” When asked why she wants to ensure they sleep with a net, she responded ” The net should protect them from getting bit from mosquitos, preventing Malaria. I am thankful to both UVP and their donors.”
Fatuma and her grandchildren asked us to pass on a big thank you to you David!
