Mr. Difasi is a 75-year-old father of seventeen children with three wives. He lives in the Bulamagi Village of Uganda, a village that Uganda Village Project has been working in for a year. Currently five people live in the household as most of his children have moved out and started their families. The rest are in college.
When asked why he bought a net, Mr. Difasi said, “I started buying nets when Uganda Village Project came to this village. I bought nets because this area has many mosquitoes and I want to keep my family from getting bitten by the mosquitoes, as they cause malaria.” He went on to say that “since sleeping under the net, we have not been bitten by mosquitoes, which is good. I am very grateful that UVP and their donors sell nets at a subsidized affordable price. Thank you very much.”
Thank you, Dale, for helping to keep the Difasi’s healthy!
