Abawaya is a 20 year old mother living in the Buwolomera village of Uganda. Abawaya was one of 14 children and struggled to live happily due to the cost of nourishing such a large family. Abawaya has one child and hopes to keep her family small so she can fully support her children.
Uganda Village Project works to help and educate women like Abawaya to prevent unwanted births. Uganda has one of the highest fertility rates in the world, which leads to poverty stricken families that cannot afford to feed their children. Abawaya did not wish to repeat history, and because of your help, Danni, she doesn’t have to worry that she will.
Abawaya received a birth control shot that will prevent unwanted pregnancies for an extended amount of time. Abawaya can live worry-free and adequately care for her child thanks to your dedication to this cause. Thank you, Danni, for helping Abawaya and her child have better lives.
