Jennifer, a 38 year old mother of 6, attributes her many children to not being able to access family planning services earlier. Nevertheless, she loves them all and is happy to have been blessed with children. When she heard that Uganda Village Project offered family planning services in her village of Buwolomera, Uganda, she immediately approached them. She had wanted to get a depo injection for at least two years but she didn’t have the economic resources nor the access to do so.
Jennifer’s husband is a farmer and makes $2 per week to provide for their large family. Because of your support of the Uganda Village Project, Amit, Jennifer was finally able to take control of her reproductive life. “I thank God for the help that Uganda Village Project has brought me,” she said with a big smile.
