Family planning services finally accessible

Thank you so much for providing family planning services to five women in Uganda. Your support of the Uganda Village Project will help women like Kambudyu, who wanted to thank you personally for your generosity

I am Kambudyu. I am 23 years old and I live in Kidaago B, a village in the Iganga District of Uganda. Due to complications with my second birth, the midwife counseled me to use contraceptives to avoid getting pregnant for at least another year. She also informed me about family planning outreach done by Uganda Village Project as the health center is three hours away so it would be difficult for me to walk there to get my method of choice. My husband and I choose to use the injection, which we receive every three months from the nurse who comes to our village.

Because of your support, Marysol, Uganda Village Project will continue to provide family planning services to Kambudyu’s village and she will be able to adhere to the midwife’s advice.
