Sarah is 43 years old and lives in Kazigo A, a village in rural Eastern Uganda. When she heard that Uganda Village Project and Nambale Health Center were partnering to conduct HIV testing and education services in her village, she immediately left her work in the garden and rushed to attend the testing and counseling session. She brought three of her children with her to get tested as well. She had tested before and wanted to do a confirmation test on her status. “I thank God that now I know my HIV status and can plan for my life. I will adhere to the advice from the counselors. I am grateful for the help that Uganda Village Project has brought me,” said Sarah.
Chris, your generous donation helped Sarah and others in this village learn their HIV and STI status. Thank you for your kindness!
